Delete your Tax Pit Stop account

If you can sign in

1. Sign in on the website or in the app.
2. Open Settings.
3. Under “Delete my account”, type DELETE and tap “Delete everything”.

Your account and everything in it are deleted right away. To keep a copy, download your data in Settings first.

If you can’t sign in

Email hello@taxpitstop.com from your account’s email, with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll delete it within 7 days.

Write the email

What gets deleted

• Your account and your email address.
• Every record in it: payouts, miles, costs, tax payments, money set aside, 1099 forms and receipt photos.
• Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days.
• If you have a paid plan, deleting ends it right away, with no refund of the time left. To keep the time you paid for, cancel first and delete later.
• Stripe, the company that takes our payments, keeps its own payment records as the law requires.
